OPGW cable places fiber  in the earth wire overhead high voltage transmission line, which constitute of optical fiber communication   transmission network .  OPGW structure has  double functions in  ground wire  and communication . The structure is composed of  aluminum tube, aluminum frame and type (stainless) steel tube .The structure of OPGW cable is 250 μm optical fiber set into the tube made of stainless steel,  the AS stranded around the tube  ,  the AA wire stranded around the AS wire  . Electric power system  uses the OPGW to transmits telephone, remote signal, relay protection, such as television image information between the transformer substation and dispatching center .
